False flax is one of the oil crops that are the least demanding to the cultivation conditions, and its winter-resistance equals winter rye. The short growth season of false flax allows efficient use of the spring deposits of moisture for yield development, and contributes to quality preparation of soil for sowing winter crops after its harvesting.
