VNIIMK is a participant of the “Field Day of the South of Russia 2021”

On August 6, 2021, in the Ust-Labinsk district in village Voronezhskaya the eighth annual event “Field Day of the South of Russia” took place at the “Zolotaya Niva” exhibition complex.
This is a significant event among professionals in the field of breeding, seed growing, horticulture, agrochemistry, and agricultural machinery, where the latest developments in the agro-industrial complex are demonstrated. The main goal of the event is to create a platform for live communication between manufacturers and customers, to demonstrate the effectiveness of new technologies.
The guests and participants of the event examined the demonstration sites with sowings of corn, sunflower, soybean, sorghum, and, for the first time, sugar beet of domestic breeding, which offers the possibility to see the advantages of domestic breeding in real conditions.
V.S. Pustovoit All-Russian Research Institute of Oil Crops (VNIIMK) presented its new breeding products at the exhibition of Field Day.
During the examination of the demonstration sowings, the participants highly appreciated the high-yielding soybean varieties (Vilana, Slavia, Irbis, Triada, Vilana beta), promising sunflower varieties and hybrids (VNIIMK 100, Imidzh, Konditer, Belochka, SPK plus, Surus, Immi, Aurus, Gorstar, Revansh and etc.), it was also noted that the varieties and hybrids of the VNIIMK breeding are in no way inferior to foreign ones.
The organizer of the exhibition is NO SRO “National Association of Producers of Corn and Sunflower Seeds”.
