On July 30, the “Field day of sunflower hybrids and varieties, soybean varieties” took place at the experimental seed farm “Berezanskoye” of V.S. Pustovoit All-Russian Research Institute of Oil Crops in the village of Novoberezansky, Korenovsky district, Krasnodar region.
The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Processing Industry, the Legislative Assembly, authorities of the Krasnodar region, and agricultural producers from different regions of the Russian Federation. The breeding achievements of the Institute was shown to the guests: high-yielding soybean varieties Vilana, Slavia, Irbis, Triada, Vilana beta, etc., unique and promising varieties VNIIMK 100, Konditer, Belochka, SPK plus, and sunflower hybrids Imidzh, Surus, Immi, Aurus, Gorstar, Revansh, etc.
Scientists of V.S. Pustovoit All-Russian Research Institute of Oil Crops and specialists of the “Shchelkovo Agrokhim” presented the new products of plant protection, talked about the main elements of the cultivation technology of oil crops, and suggested end-to-end solutions for agricultural producers.
The participants highly appreciated the varieties and hybrids of breeding of V.S. Pustovoit All-Russian Institute of Oil Crops and the effectiveness of the preparations of the “Shchelkovo Agrokhim” company. Everyone could assess the degree of effectiveness of plant protection products against insect pests using microscopes. During the examination of the experimental plots of domestic and foreign varieties, the participants of the event noted that the varieties and hybrids of breeding of V.S. Pustovoit All-Russian Institute of Oil Crops are in no way inferior to foreign ones.
