Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation V.N. Falkov confirmed the appointment of Vyacheslav Mikhailovich Lukomets, academician of RAS, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences as a director of V.S. Pustovoit All-Russian Research Institute of Oil Crops.
According to the results of the elections for the post of director of V.S. Pustovoit All-Russian Research Institute of Oil Crops V.M. Lukomets polled 82.1 % of the votes.
During the visit to the Kyrgyz Republic, the delegation of V.S. Pustovoit All-Russian Research Institute of Oil Crops (VNIIMK) met with the governor of the Osh region. Issues of scientific and technical partnership were discussed at the meeting. The delegates also visited the village of Kalinin in the Kara-Suu region, where they examined the experimental fields of the State Variety Commission of the Kyrgyz Republic.
