Krasnodar, October 21. /TASS/. A significant decrease in prices for sunflower oil, after rising to record levels, is not expected in the near future. The reasons for the growth are the decline in sunflower harvest caused by the drought, told TASS Konstantin Krivoshlykov, deputy director for economics of V.S. Pustovoit All-Russian Research Institute of Oil Crops, PhD in economics.
In 2019, the gross yield of soybean in Russia exceeded 4.3 million tons of beans. It was a record for our country, but not the limit! The industry’s potential allows for much larger yields.
Despite all the difficulties of the year related to the coronavirus disease, we did not give up our positions and received a decent harvest. It became possible due to the perseverance and selfless work of agricultural workers!
All sunflower hybrids are developed using parent material adapted to local conditions. The offered sunflower hybrids are resistant to the complex of the main pathogens (broomrape, downy mildew, Phomopsis blight)
