More than a dozen varieties of rapeseed, soy, oilseed flax, sunflower varieties and hybrids will be demonstrated by VNIIMK at the All-Russian Field Day, which will be held on July 6-9 in Kazan on the territory of the Kazan Expo IEC. During the inspection of demonstration crops, the exhibition participants will be able to evaluate the appearance of the presented varieties, learn about the main characteristics, key features and conditions for realizing the genetic potential of varieties and hybrids of oilseeds of VNIIMK breeding in various soil and climatic conditions.
The guests will be presented new promising varieties and hybrids of oilseeds, as well as breeding achievements that have long proven themselves in production. Among the novelties are the first domestic variety of spring rapeseed, which is resistant to a herbicide based on clopyralide and imazamox, OUTPOST KL, a cold–resistant soybean variety of the northern SAYAN ecotype, a sunflower hybrid resistant to sulfonylurea herbicides SURUS, as well as varieties of oilseed flax with high resistance to fusarium wilting, shedding and lodging – AUGUST and AMBER.
