Veniamin Kondratiev congratulated Kuban scientists on Russian Science Day
The special event took place in the G.F. Ponomarenko Krasnodar Philharmonic. According to the head of the region, each of those present makes a huge contribution to the development of the region and the country as a whole. The knowledge, talent and perseverance of Kuban scientists help to change life, benefit the community and future generations.
- Your results in science are a breakthrough in all areas of life. Today, we are doing everything we can so that the Kuban science has not only applicable nature but is also integrated into the economy as much as possible, - Veniamin Kondratiev emphasized.
According to him, the region need development in promising sectors: industry, energy, transport, biotechnology.
- It is important that science and business meet, become competitive, and come up with breakthrough ideas. For its part, the region is rendering assistance. Last year, we doubled the grant support for basic research – up to 120 million rubles. About a thousand scientists received money for their projects, - the governor underlined.
The head of the region also presented the scientists who achieved professional results with state and regional awards.
The gratitude of the Governor of the Krasnodar region and the honorary diploma of the administration of the region were awarded to the three scientists of V.S. Pustovoit All-Russian Research Institute of Oil Crops:
- For many years of strong performance, high indicators of research work in the field of developing express methods for assessing the quality and identification of plant materials, Agafonov Oleg Sergeyevich was awarded the gratitude of the head of administration (governor) of the Krasnodar region.
- For many years of strong performance, high indicators of research work and production activity in the field of pathogen biology of oil crops of the cabbage family and protection of plants from their harmful effects, Serdyuk Oksana Anatolievna was awarded the honorary diploma of the Ministry of education, science and youth policy of the Krasnodar region.
- For many years of strong performance, high indicators of research work in the field of breeding and seed production of oil crops, Moshnenko Yelena Valentinovna was awarded the gratitude of the head of administration (governor) of the Krasnodar region.
